Terms and conditions of Norlab Oy (Norlab)

These terms and conditions cover all sales of products and services by Norlab and any information and advice given whether charged for or not. No variation in these terms and conditions will apply unless agreed by Norlab in writing.

 

Order acceptance

All sales are subject to and expressly conditioned upon the terms and conditions contained herein, and upon purchaser's assent thereto. Any terms or conditions in the purchaser's order inconsistent herewith are hereby rejected and shall not be applicable to the sale. No variations of these terms and conditions found on purchase orders or other documents will be binding upon the seller unless agreed to in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Norlab. Norlab sells to professionals only. We do not accept orders from private individuals.

 

Customer acknowledgment

The purchaser acknowledges agreement with these terms and conditions by the placement of an order to purchase a product or a service from Norlab.

 

Clerical errors

Norlab reserves the right to correct any typographical or clerical errors in prices, specifications, or acknowledgments.



Purchase orders

Placing an order

Customers can place an order on this website, in writing, by e-mail, or by telephone. All telephone orders are accepted at the risk of the buyer and shipments made before the receipt of confirmation are for the special convenience of the buyer.

 

Minimum order value

There is no minimum order value or quantity.

 

Order acceptance or rejection

All orders placed are subject to acceptance or rejection.

 

Order cancellation or amendment

Cancellation or amendment of orders by the purchaser are subject to approval by Norlab. Charges may be applied and the purchaser agrees to pay such charges. In such event, the seller will advise the purchaser of the total charge for such cancellation or amendment, including, but not limited to, storage and shipment costs, costs of purchasing non-returnable goods, and cancellation costs imposed on the seller by its suppliers. Certification of such costs by the seller's independent public accountants shall be conclusive on the parties hereto.

 

Duplicate shipments

Duplicate shipments made because confirming orders were not so marked may be subject to a restocking fee.

 

Changes

Norlab reserves the right to change product specifications, quantities, designs or prices without notice and without liability for such changes.


Prices and charges

Prices

All prices on this website, in catalogs, in price lists, and in quotations are F.C.A. seller's shipping point unless otherwise noted.

 

Taxes and duties

All prices are net of Value Added Taxes and ony other taxes or duties. These will be charged separately, if applicable.

 

Changes

Due to fluctuations in suppliers' pricing and exchange rates, all prices are only indicative and subject to changes without any prior notice. Norlab has the right to change the prices shown on this website, in catalogues, and price lists at any time and to invoice at prices current at the date of shipment of an order.

 

Quotations

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation, unless otherwise notified by Norlab.

 

Shipping and handling charges

When dealing in CIP terms, with buyers with an account, freight costs and insurance are prepaid and added as a separate charge, which is included in the shipping and handling charge on the invoice. If shipping and handling charges are quoted or invoiced, they will include charges in addition to actual freight costs and insurance.



Payment

Sales terms

Where Seller has extended credit to Buyer, the standard terms of payment is, unless otherwise agreed, net fourteen (14) days from date of invoice. The amount of credit may be changed or credit withdrawn by Seller at any time. 

 

Customers without an account

Payment in advance may be required from customers without an account.

 

Delinquent accounts

Norlab has the right to charge a service charge for late payment beyond terms. The service charge will include interest on delayed payments, at the rate notified by the Bank of Finland. The Buyer also agrees to pay the costs of collection on past due invoices, including, but not limited to, reasonable accounting and attorney fees.

 

Credit limits

Customers who exceed their credit limits will be asked to pay in advance for additional goods until the account is settled.

 

Ownership of the goods

Delivered products shall remain the property of Norlab until full payment is made.
